Reef is 2300 km long and is sometimes described as the biggest living organism
on earth. Threatened by pollution, tourism and increasing sea temperatures,
but still an experience like few others accessible.These pictures are from a

After two hours of nothing but sea, the Great Barrier Reef suddenly rises from the seabottom, 300 metres underneath the surface. |
Snorkling is one great way to experience the reefs. |

 We were told that the sharks not would attack us. |
